My client wanted me to make a full personalized illustration for his book cover.
Sketch explorations
I started with various sketch for him to choose the one he most appeal to him. When he chosen one I followed and correct it according to his indications and keep working on it.
Lineart
For this illustration in specific I started with greyscale, he wanted a specific light/shadow configuration and for me was easier start in with values, then added colors.
Values painting
I enjoyed this project. it was fun and different.
